Having been in the specialty food business myself, creating many products, all of which were produced from a number of 'ingredients', I know from experience that it's not always easy to find the 'ingredients' you're looking for. And, in a broader sense, 'ingredients' includes packaging, labels, co-packing and all the other products and services needed to have your products ready to sell.
This might be because an 'ingredient' is hard to find because it is unusual or in short supply, because the quantity needed is very large or small, or because the ingredients need to be organic or kosher. Maybe you're just starting out and have had no experience sourcing ingredients. Or there might be some other reason.
Nevertheless, finding the right ingredients in the right place, in the right quantity, at the time they are needed, is often difficult. That is the reason for this website.
